Enormous Rooms Journal Release Party! Come join us, Friday, September 16th at King's English (1511 S. 1500 E.) for a reading of the winning selections. Free refreshments served afterward. Show starts at 7 PM. See you there!

Winners for the 2010-2011 Enormous Rooms Literary Journal have been chosen. Thank you, everyone, for your submissions, and congratulations to the winners! The list of winners, along with a digital copy of the journal, will be posted shortly. The physical version of the journal is scheduled to be printed by June 30th. A release party will be held late August / early September (details to come). Please check back for further announcements.

We are currently taking submissions for our 2010-2011 journal. The deadline to submit is March 1st by midnight. All forms of writing are accepted, whether it's poetry, fiction, non-fiction, essay, or freestyle. We also accept photography and digital media. If you are interested in submitting your work for consideration, please visit the submissions page for submission guidelines and the submission form. Submission is free, and you can submit as many pieces as you like. Email questions to enormousrooms@gmail.com.

Welcome to the official website of Enormous Rooms, the University of Utah's Undergraduate Literary Journal. Enormous Rooms is currently in its fifth year, and we are accepting submissions for the journal in the categories of short fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, critical essays, and the visual arts.
Submissions for the 2011 Journal: Currently, you may submit your piece via e-mail. For submissions guidelines and instructions, please follow the "Submissions" link at the top of the page. We will also be implementing a form for electronic submissions, should you prefer.
Site Features: In addition to providing news about the journal, you may access the "Student Workshop Group" link for information about our student-run, faculty-moderated workshop, to which you may submit your written work. We also maintain a calendar of events which may be of interest to writers and creative sorts--click the "Events" link to see these.
Be a Part of Enormous Rooms: In addition to writers, we are or will soon be seeking motivated students to assist in all aspects of the journal, including: editing/selection, journal layout and graphic design, journal promotion, solicitation of donations for our yearly contest. If you are interested in any of these roles, or if you would just like to get to know the students who are running the world's greatest journal, send an email to enormousrooms@gmail.com, or drop by our meetings. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 3:30 PM in LNCO 3820.
